The State Attorney’s Office in Ljubljana is exclusively authorised to:

• Perform consultancy work defined in Article 7 of the State Attorney Act (hereinafter Article 7 of the ZDPra), for all subjects from Article 7 of the ZDPra;

• Represent subjects from Article 7 of the ZDPra before foreign and international courts.

The Branch Office of the State Attorney’s Office in Celje represents subjects from Article 7 of the ZDPra before the Local Court in Celje, Local Court in Slovenske Konjice, Local Court in Šentjur pri Celju, Local Court in Šmarje pri Jelšah, Local Court in Velenje, Local Court in Žalec, the District Court in Celje, the Higher Court in Celje and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia, when the first instance decision was passed by a court in the Celje judicial district.

The Branch Office of the State Attorney’s Office in Koper represents subjects from Article 7 of the ZDPra before the Local Court in Koper, Local Court in Ilirska Bistrica, Local Court in Piran, Local Court in Postojna, Local Court in Sežana, the District Court in Koper, the Higher Court in Koper and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia, when the first instance decision was passed by a court in the Koper judicial district.
